Discover the movers and shakers in the world of technology, the people who’ve shaped the modern world. Perhaps you might be a visionary for the next generation. Build and investigate gadgets galore. This term we are finding out about the changes during the period that Queen Victoria was on the throne.  The knowledge organiser attached here will give you some starting points to think about this topic.  We will be visiting St Fagans to experience what it was like to be a Victorian school child.  Why not visit St Fagans with your family and take a look at some of the other Victorian buildings?  You could also visit the local library in Llanishen or Rhydypennau and see if you can find any Victorian information books to learn more from.  We also have Victorian information books in our school library.  You may also enjoy reading some Charles Dickens books.  There are simplified versions of texts such as 'Oliver Twist' or 'A Christmas Carol' available.
