Knowledge Organisers
At the start of every new topic, a Knowledge Organiser will be sent home. This is a single page document that lists the important facts that pupils should know by the end of a topic. It is the minimum that needs to be known, rehearsed and stored over time in the long-term memory. They should be viewed as the starting point for the topic being learnt. Throughout the topic pupils will learn at a deeper and wider level, using skills and experiences to enhance learning.
Accompanying the Knowledge Organiser will be a suggested list of enhancement activities which you can complete with your child. These are not compulsory.
