Branch 4 Desert to Garden Lesson 2 We know some simple words actions and symbols from the Ash Wednesday Liturgy. We made the sign of the cross in Ash on our forehead reflected on ways we can grow closer to God.
Branch 3 Lesson 8 We heard the story of Jesus and the little children Luke 18: 15-17 and reflected on how we can meet Jesus today.
RED Branch 3 Lesson 3 We know that people celebrate Candlemas because Jesus is the light for all people. Canon John came to celebrate Candlemas with us. He blessed our candles nd we took them home to share the Light of Jesus with our families.
The Epiphany - we listened to the Gospel reading about the visit of the Kings and reflected on the gifts we bring to Jesus, kindness, sharing, hope, peace, love. We wrote our actions on a crown and wore them for our collective worship.

RED Branch 2 we are learning to sing and sign the Hail Mary. We know Mary said yes to God and the first lines of the Hail Mary were spoken by the Angel Gabriel at the Annunciation. Prophecy and Promise Lesson 1, 2, 11 and 12.

RED Branch 2 Prophecy and Promise lesson 5 & 6 We recognise ways the Christian community prepare for and celebrate Christmas. We make decorations. We retell the Christmas story based on the the Gospel readings. We make cards and gifts. We sing songs of praise.
Catholic life. We join as a school community to worship and light the Advent candles each week in Advent.
We wrote prayers of peace and hope and joined our prayers together in a chain. We pray together.
RED Branch 2 Prophecy and Promise lesson 7. We heard the story of the shepherds and looked at art from around the world that retells this story, before responding in paint, collage and small world play.

Advent #1
RED Branch 1 Creation and Covenant - collective worship to thank and praise God for creation.
Branch 1 Creation to Covenant. Lesson 1 we listened to the story of Creation from Genesis and made drawings and paintings to show what we could remember. We played with the zoo and farm animals and talked about the wonder of these creatures.
