Class Liturgy - We said thank you to God for our wonderful world and we prayed that everyone would look after the gift he gave us . ❤️🌎
Come and See topic 9 Our World 🌎. We looked at wonderful images of our world . We painted Our favourite things in this world God gave us and we made a wonder wall of all the things we are curious about in this world 🌎.
Come and See Topic 8 Friends We learnt about being a good friend. We spend time with our buddy friends and we sent messages to friends we missed ❤️. We learnt about the one rule Jesus gave us “Love one another as I have loved you.”
Canon John told us all about the importance of praying the Rosary 📿
Other Faiths Islam - we had a visit from one of our friends to explain how she prays five times a day . She showed us the prayer mat and her special prayer beads.

Pentecost art work using loose parts . 🔥🌬️🕊️
TOPIC 7 -We have been listening to scripture to learn about the good news of Pentecost 🔥🕊️. We thought about the different feelings of the disciples. Hapus 😊, Jesus has risen . Trist 😞, Jesus will go back to his father . Shocked 😮 when the flames 🔥 and wind 🌬️ came . Joyous, because Jesus kept his promise to send the Holy Spirit.

Holy Week KETTS - we have been using loose parts to create images linked to the scripture.
CST -We have been learning about the Catholic Social Teaching principles . Luc the deer helps us to show Human Dignity
RSE Fertile Heart Growing in Gods Love ❤️. We have been learning what we need to nourish our bodies inside and out . We are nurtured by love , and care demonstrated by our families and the example of Jesus .
Come and See topic 6 Growing - we have been watching the eggs hatch and discussing new life. We are learning how the chicks grow.
Canon John joined us to tell us all about the importance of the mass . We learnt about processing at the beginning of mass , why the words “the lord be with you “ are used and when we listen to the word of God.
Come and See topic 5 Gathering - We have been learning why we gather in church for mass . We acted out the mass , the gather , the welcome , listening to the Word of God and Holy Communion.
Canon John told us all about the importance of the mass.
RSE TEN TEN We are unique, we are loved 🥰
Celebrations Topic -we visited our parish church to learn about different ways we celebrate in church . We saw the font , altar , Easter candle 🕯.
Come and See Topic 4 Celebrations - We have used circle maps to describe different celebrations 🎉 we have enjoyed .
Prayer Focus Loving and Compassionate - we added a heart to our basket when we displayed the virtues. We are remembering the words spoken by Jesus “ Love one another as I have loved you .” John 13:34
We have drawn the nativity scene and described how Mary , Joseph ,the shepherds felt.
Come and See Birthdays Topic - nursery class invited us to a party to celebrate the birthday of Jesus 🎉🥳. We played party games and had party food.

The Journey to Bethlehem- During Advent we are learning about how we are waiting and how Mary and Joseph felt on their long journey.
Class Collective Worship - Birthdays 🎉

Nativity Liturgy 2023 We have used the Gospel of Luke to retell the Journey to Bethlehem and the birth of Jesus.
Nativity Collage -we have enjoyed using expressive arts to create our Nativity collage for our Christmas show.

Welcome Topic - end of topic class liturgy 🙏🏻💦🕯️🐚. We remembered the importance of being welcoming. We thanked God for welcoming us into his family through Baptism.

Welcome Mass 2023 - We were welcomed into our first school mass with our buddies ❤️ We are part of our school family and Gods family .
Our Buddies are living out our Mission Statement . We are a welcoming community . They have helped us settle into our new school and class.
We used natural materials to decorate our names and we had fun with muddy handprints . God knows our name and we are unique , we all have different muddy handprints 🥰
