We have introduced our morning Do Now activities. First we wake and shake and then we go to an activity , funky fingers , letter formation , reading and puzzles , ICT 1 minute maths, or numeracy activity . The children have been excellent . Each morning they revisit a different skill . 😊👏👏👏
AOLE HUMANITIES/SCIENCE AND TECH- we took photos of each other and we changed the filter to black and white to make them look like photos from long ago .
AOLE NUMERACY- We used our numeracy skills to decorate our biscuits for our gift box . first we rolled the dice to find a number , then we identified 1 less than the number and then we used the total to decorate our biscuits with that number of smarties.

AOLE HEALTH AND WELLBEING- Family fun at forest school , we invited our family to join us as we journeyed to the manger ⭐️ and then celebrated Christmas with outdoor activities.

AOLE LLC - we are enjoying our Monster Phonics activities to support our letter formation.
AOLE SCIENCE AND TECH - for Protect our Planet 🌎 day we listened to the story The Trouble with Dragons . We explored why our planet is getting too hot by carrying out an ice experiment. We created a wonder wall and thought of ways we could look after our wonderful world , a gift from God.
AOLE HEALTH AND WELLBEING/ Numeracy - we had so much fun playing in the autumn leaves 🍂. We have been learning how our world changes over time linked to the seasons . Our world 🌎 is wonderful .
AOLE NUMERACY- we have enjoyed matching numicon shapes and finding the corresponding numeral . We also loved our matching shape game.
AOLE Humanities /Expressive Arts - We celebrated Rememberance Sunday by making poppy handprints. We remember all the people who have given up their lives or fought for our country.
AOLE Humanities/ LLC/Expressive Arts - For our new enquiry sparkle and shine , we are learning about different autumn celebrations. This week we learnt all about Diwali which is also known as the Festival of Light, we made diya lamps.
AOLE HEALTH AND WELLBEING- we have loved using the large apparatus in our PE lessons .

AOLE EXPRESSIVE ARTS - The children were introduced to a new medium of expression - ⭐ CLAY ⭐ The children explored how it felt, "cold, sticky, hard, squashy, tricky, wet but dry as well" and even, "gross!!" 😄 The children squashed, pressed, flattened, rolled, squeezed, pinched and enjoyed exploring clay. We have started to create Autumn animals 🦔🦡🐿️🦉🦊🐰
AOLE NUMERACY- 🌿Today we read Stanley's Stick 🌿 and enjoyed pretending with Stanley! We measured our friend using sticks, then had the tricky challenge of ordering our sticks from the longest to the shortest! It was tricky- but we did it 🙌🏼
AOLE LLC - we have enjoyed learning our monster phonic phonemes in fun creative ways . Cut Cut the Carrots 🥕 for ⭐ C⭐, we had crumpets and ate crunchy carrots too !
AOLE NUMERACY INTERPRETING DATA - This week we looked at how we are all unique. But in some ways we are the same! Our hair colour and eye colour for instance 👁️ we each placed a counter on the chart 📊 and were able to identify the most popular and least popular hair and eye colour in our class ☺️ we also noticed that only children with blonde or red hair had blue eyes!
