28/3/22 Our first trip in Year 4 was a brilliant visit to Glamorgan Cricket Club with Paul and Andrew leading sessions about the local 5 teams at Sophia Gardens. Had the opportunity to try on the shirts of the international and British teams!

10/2/22 Week 3 of our Fishkeeper Fry Project and today we finally got to meet the first 5 zebra danios for our tank. We remembered how to check the water and create a safe, welcoming environment for our new classmates.

10/2/22 We really enjoyed looking back at how much we have grown since we were in the Reception Class. We talked about how we change not only physically but how our confidence and resilience develops too.
8/2/22 Year 4 began Children’s Mental Health Week by exploring ways to recognise and name our feelings. We also thought about where in the body we feel strong emotions.
4/2/22 Week 2 of our Fishkeeper Fry project and we were testing the water, learning about pH levels, acid, alkaline and neutral. First tests were positive and we started to add plants for our aquatic freshwater habitat. First delivery of fish next week!
3/2/22 Today we experienced our own re-enactment of invaders in the Middle Ages. Attack? Defend? Drive? Plunder? Definitely not all at once! We found out how important planning and teamwork are in winning the victory.

28/1/22 Fishkeeper Fry - We measured and plotted a scale model of our classroom debating the best positioning of our new tank based on physical conditions. We then justified our choices and voted on the best position.
