Branch 4 Desert to Garden . We have been learning about Holy Week . We baked bread and shared it with our friends. We washed the feet of our friends. We made crosses in forest school to add to our Easter Garden.
Branch 4 Desert to Garden - we gathered in prayer 🙏🏻 to thank God for his love and to Remember we grow closer to God when we care for others
Canon John came to talk to us about the importance of praying 🙏🏻 during Lent .
BRANCH 4 Desert to Garden - we have been showing care to others during Lent by donating to our local food donation area.
RED Branch 4 Desert to Garden - at the start of Lent we gathered to remember that Jesus loves us . The cross ✝️ reminds us of his love ❤️.
RED Branch 4 Desert to Garden - we have been learning about Shrove Tuesday. We made our own pancakes before the start of Lent.

RED Branch 3 The children came together to thank God for all of the wonderful gifts he has given us in our lives at home and in school 🙏🏼 "Thank you God for my toys ♥️" "Thank you God for my family ♥️" "Thank you God for my big comfy warm bed! ♥️" "Thank you God for our teachers and my Mummy ♥️"
RED Branch 3 Galilee to be Jerusalem - 😌 A huge and heartfelt thank you to our supportive Reception families 🥰 this wonderful donation of food will donated by the children next week, as we help those in our community who need support, and focus on what they need, instead of what we want. Thank you for your kindness 🙏🏼♥️
RED Branch 3 Galilee to Jerusalem - Last week we learnt about wants and needs . We learnt that every one needs a safe home. We learnt some people don’t have nice warm homes that are waterproof . We tested different materials to see if we can keep our homes waterproof.
Branch 3 Galilee to Jerusalem - Today Reception listened to the miracle story of 🐟 The Feeding of the 5,000 🍞 We acted out the story in class & spoke about the kindness of the people ❤️ We responded by making our own bread to share in class with our friends ❤️
Branch 3 Galilee to Jerusalem - we have listened to a scripture story from the Gospel of Mark ( MK 10: ) Jesus blesses the little children . We spoke about being made welcome in our school, in our class when we visit new places. Have there been times when we should have been more welcoming? We know that Jesus welcomes everyone .

Branch 3 Galilee to Jerusalem - We have listened to Matthews Gospel , when the Wise men took gifts to baby Jesus in Bethlehem . We have made our own gifts boxes with a treat inside to share with our family because we love them. Jesus has shown us how to love ❤️.
Branch 3 Galilee to Jerusalem - we decided our gift to Jesus would be the gift of Kindness 🥰. We wrote our act of kindness in gift tags to add to our kindness tree .
RED BRANCH 3 Galilee to Jerusalem - We celebrated the Feast of the Epiphany . We made crowns, wrote about the kings journey to Bethlehem ⭐️ and the gifts they brought . We learnt how other countries celebrate and we received a gift in our shoes. Our gift to Jesus will be kindness to others ❤️.
Branch 2 Prophecy and Promise- we have responded creatively to the scripture we have heard. Luke 2:4-18 "That night there were shepherds staying in the fields nearby, guarding their flocks of sheep. Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord's glory surrounded them. They were terrified, but the angel reassured them. “Don't be afraid!” he said."

Branch 2 Prophecy and Promise- we responded to the journey to Bethlehem ✨ a beautiful life size Nativity Stable scene, designed and created by the children themselves ☺️👏🏼✨
✨KETTS The Journey to Bethlehem - what a long journey Mary and Joseph had to make. How do we remember their journey and story in our houses and schools? With a Nativity Stable. What does the stable represent to us? What did that simple stable do for the family of the future King and saviour? How would you have felt if you needed to shelter in a lowly stable? ✨🐄🐑
✨KETTS The journey to Bethlehem ⭐ we spoke about the journey Mary and Joseph made and how they followed the star with faith ⭐ we shared the light God gave us with our friends as we said, "God's light shines on me." ⭐✨

Branch 2 Prophecy and Promise - we are learning all about the journey to Bethlehem and the birth of Jesus . The scripture said “1Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

CST HUMAN DIGNITY- this term we have been learning how everyone should be treated fairly , everyone has the right to be loved and accepted and we are all different and unique but all loved by God.
Branch 1 Creation and Covenant Collective worship- we gave thanks to God for welcoming us into his family through Baptism.
RED Branch 1 Creation and Covenant - we role played a Baptism in class . We spoke about the symbols of Baptism and we learnt that through Baptism we become part of Gods family.
CST we took Luc the deer to forest school. Reception practiced using positive language to support and cheer on our friends! We helped them with obstacle courses and served each other the hot chocolate today. We all should be treated fairly and with dignity.
Mission Statement in action -after our first school mass during which we were welcomed into the school community we had a welcome celebration with our wonderful buddies.
RED Branch 1 Creation and Covenant - 💚In Reception we see and value all of God's wonderful creatures 🦎💚 we had the privilege to meet Colin the Chameleon on Friday. We were gentle, inquisitive and in awe of this magnificent creature 🦎😍 we thought about how we can care for God's animals and what we can do each day to protect the ones in our day to day lives. Food, shelter, water and love were what Reception decided were the most important things ☺️💚
RED BRANCH 1 Creation and Covenant- Reception created their interpretation of the story of Creation together ⭐ and saw the beauty in God's world. We understand why "God saw all that he had made- it was good." 🌎 Thank you God for our wonderful world 🌎
RED BRANCH 1 Creation and Covenant Display-I know that I am precious, I am loved, I am unique. Mark 10: 13-16 Jesus said to them, "Let the little children come to me." 🙏🏼 Thank you God for making me me. ❤️
RED BRANCH 1 Creation and Covenant Display- Children truly are a gift from God. We looked at our families and we saw how different we are. But we are all made in the uniqueness of God and are special in the eyes of the Lord. 🙏🏼 Thank you God for the gift of our families ❤️
RED Branch 1 Creation and Covenant- WALT: To recognise that God wants us to be stewards of the wonderful world He has made. We are learning about our Mission Statement and how we can follow Gods rules to look after the wonderful world He gave us.

RED Branch 1 Gods wonderful world - we had a fantastic visit from animal zone to show us lots of animal and their purpose in God’s wonderful world . Did you know a centipede is like Gods caretakers , looking after the soil .
