    Branch 5 - We have learnt how the Disciples spread the Good News of Jesus by speaking different languages. We asked our wonderful parents to share their home languages with us . It has been amazing �� to listen to all our parents from ����, ����, ���� ���� �������� ���� ���� ���� ����

    Branch 5 - We have been using loose parts to create images of the Pentecost story . "When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each ." Acts 2

    Branch 4 - We took some time to reflect on the love ❤️Jesus showed on Good Friday ✝️. They each said thank you Jesus and blew out the candle ��️. They also made loose part images linked to the scripture.

    BRANCH 4 RSE - �� �� �� Reception learned the story of Freddy Teddy and Mollie Cat- Mollie Cat was kind but Freddy Teddy didn't think of others. Reception decided to be like Mollie Cat �� and be kind to their friends in school ������✝️

    BRANCH 4 - We have been thinking of others during Lent . We have also been demonstrating the CST principle of Poppy the Popokotea , putting people most in need first . Our families have contributed to our food collection for the parish food bank. We had a lovely thank you letter from the parish .

    BRANCH 4 Canon John spoke to us about Ash Wednesday and we all received the ashes to remind us of what Jesus did for us because he loves us. ❤️✝️

    Branch 4 We listened to the scripture of Jesus in the desert . We then made pancakes and discussed why Shrove Tuesday is important.

    BRANCH 3 - We are making and decorating gift boxes for our families. We are thanking them for sharing the gift of love ❤️.

    REINDEER RUN ��- As a school we raised money during Advent for City Hospice . We had lots of fun walking with the rest of the school and especially our buddies , we are thinking of others during Advent. As a school we raised over £1900.

    Nativity 2025

    AOLE NUMERACY/RELIGION- We used 2D shapes to create a nativity scene . ������

    Branch 2 Prophecy and Promise: I can talk about the shepherds role in the story of Christmas. Reception created some large loose parts art together as a class and in groups. We worked collaboratively to recreate the scene of the shepherds on the hill. We even wanted to include the "glory of God shining all around them!" as a great flash of light!

    Reception created a beautiful individual response to the Nativity Story using loose parts. We discussed the story and were able to talk about the birth of Jesus. Branch 2: I can listen and respond to the story of Baby Jesus being born.

    Branch 2 Prophecy and Promise - ✝️ Last week Reception began the listening to the Nativity story ⭐ we learned how the Angel Gabriel came to Mary to announce her good news! We spoke about how Mary and Joseph may have felt- how would we have felt? What did Mary say to the Angel Gabriel and to God? What might have happened if she or Joseph had said "no" to God? What will happen next in the story...? ⭐

    Branch 2 Prophecy and Promise - we have been learning about Mary , we have looked at different images of Mary and created our own interpretations.

    Branch 1 Creation and Covenant - We become part of Gods family through Baptism ����

    BRANCH 1 We went to explore our local woods . What a wonderful world �� we live in . We need to look after it . ❤️

    Branch 1 Creation and Covenant - On our own we are unique and special, together we can create a beautiful friendship ��

    Branch 1 Creation and Covenant - We have been exploring our lovely school field and having fun in the leaves . We have learnt about Sofia the Sloth that our world is a gift from God and we need to take care of it. We collected any litter we found on the field. We are being stewards for our wonderful world ��❤️��

    Branch 1 Creation and Covenant - We have been learning about the wonderful world God created for us. We have painted things we love in our world . " We are thankful for rainbows ��sunshine ☀️, flowers and trees �� �� and our families ❤️. "

    Branch 1 - This week we learnt the story of creation �� About how God created our wonderful world and gave us all of the gifts to enjoy and look after ✨ how can we look after and care for our planet? ✨ What can we do each day to show thanks for the gifts God has given us? .

    Branch 1 Creation and Covenant - We have been sharing our All About Me Bags We have been learning how we are unique and we are loved by God and our families . ❤️
